The Central Bank of Qatar raised the bank’s deposit rate (QCBDR) by 50 basis points starting today; To become 1.50%, he also raised the bank’s lending interest rate (QCBLR) by 25 basis points; up to 2.75%.
It was also decided to raise the QCB repo rate by 50 basis points; become 1.75%.
In his statement, he explained that the decision to raise the interest rate was based on local and international economic data.
