Queen Elizabeth II on Friday mourned the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him.
The Queen posted a tweet via the royal family’s Twitter account saying: “I am saddened to hear the news of the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates… Your esteemed brother dedicated his life to serving the people of the United Arab Emirates and strengthening relations with them allies and friends.”
She added: “His memory will remain immortal among all those who work for regional stability and understanding between peoples and religions.”
