Gamers Season Announces $15M Elite Roster

The Saudi Electronic Sports Federation, the organizers of Gamer’s Season – the world’s largest event in sports and electronic gaming – has announced a list of elite competition tournaments that will bring together the best international teams with cash prizes totaling US$15 million.

Within 6 weeks, from July 14 to September 8, 5 global tournaments will be held in a number of the most popular electronic games: Rocket League, Dota 2, Fortnite, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and PUBG MOBILE.

The huge venue dedicated to the global event has been built and equipped with the latest technology to host elite tournament competition and provide the best experience for teams and players, as well as fans and visitors to Riyadh City Boulevard.

The Fortnite tournament will bring together the best players of the famous game from around the world, while the Rocket League tournament will feature 24 of the world’s elite teams, including: the Saudi Falcons, the Furia Esports team from Latin America, and the FaZe Clan and Rogue teams from North America.

The Dota 2 tournament will also feature 8 international teams, including the Saudi Deboosters, who qualified for the Gamers season after winning the Elite Players Without Borders title in the same game. Eight other international teams are expected to take part in the Rainbow Six Siege tournament, including: Team TSM FTX from North America and Team Liquid from Latin America.

HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Electronic Sports Federation, said: “Gamer season is a very special occasion and we are delighted to welcome elite teams and players to this global event. an event whose purpose is to transfer sports and electronic games from the virtual world to reality. In Riyadh”

His Highness added, “This will be a special opportunity for sports and electronic gaming fans to get to know and closely watch the top talent in elite tournaments, and we hope it will inspire the next generation of gamers.” in the Kingdom and abroad and enhance their passion and commitment to the electronic gaming arena. We wish success to all participants.”

The Gamer Season is hosted by the Saudi Arabian Electronic Sports Federation and will focus on 4 main themes; Professional esports and gaming competitions, entertainment shows, concerts and the “Next World Summit”, which brings together leaders and experts in the esports and gaming industry from around the world.

The series of concerts will run for eight weeks, featuring eight international stars as well as a number of local music stars. Concerts begin on Thursday, July 14th and end on Thursday, September 1st. In addition to over a thousand recreational activities throughout the gaming season.

Gamer Season Tournaments are streamed live on Season Channels across multiple platforms in over 8 different languages. More information about the names of the participating stars and events will be announced later, and you can follow the latest events of the gaming season on the official website.
