On Wednesday, Egyptian star Mohamed Salah celebrated his 30th birthday by appearing next to a football-shaped cake.
The Liverpool star posted a photo of his celebration on Twitter with the comment: “Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes.”

Salah’s way of celebrating his birthday drew ridicule from some communications site pioneers who commented on the cake as “perfect for a five year old.”

One of Salah’s followers commented on the photo, saying, “Inconsistent colors and a big ball that doesn’t fit the cake.” Another said: “Whoever made this cake knows nothing about football,” according to the British Daily Star newspaper. Among the funny comments was that the post said “Yaya will be jealous”, referring to Yaya Toure, who was famous for his angry comment about not celebrating his 31st birthday in 2014.
Another comment advised Salah to delete the photo because it is “shocking” and it’s amazing that he laughs when he sees her instead of crying because of her appearance.
