The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) signed a new two-year contract extension with The current Süper Lig Broadcaster Digitürk beIN Media Group on Friday.
TFF President Muhammad Buyukiki and beIN MEDIA GROUP CEO Yousef Al-Obaidly attended the signing ceremony held at TFF headquarters in Riva, Istanbul.
Buyukiki said that the new deal that was agreed was so worth 2.2 billion Turkish liras ($127.88 million).
In an earlier statement, TFF noted that new board of Thursday’s Board of Directors reviewed the broadcasting tender for the transfer of Broadcast rights to Süper League and TFF 1. League for 2022-2023 football season.
After the re-evaluation, they decided to unilaterally cancel the bid and sign extension with beIN Qatar instead.
