Al-Shabaab President Khaled Al-Baltan said: “Today at the Malaz Stadium, I buried the Big Four saying, to which the sports media have devoted more than 50 years, that only this four come to the top.
And he added in an interview to the Al-Ekhbariya TV channel: “The pinnacle in sports is for those who are tired and striving, but there are no adults, adults are only at a temporary stage.”
He continued: “I did not want the demotion of Al-Ahly and did not take revenge, and it is not true that Al-Ahly degraded the youth. This is a lie fabricated by the Al Ahli media to highlight the disasters we have caused them.”
He concluded his speech by advising Al Ahli fans, “Hang on and rebuild your culture again and quit bullying… you’ll still be old… but be proud of your team.”
It is worth noting that the Al-Ahly club was officially relegated to the First Division for the first time in its history after being drawn against the youth team yesterday.
