The Ministry of Endowments of Egypt has decided to terminate the work of Sheikh Yahya Mohamed Abdel-Khalek Bargut, Director of Endowment Department Shebin El-Kom in Menufia, due to his statements about the cancellation of the Eid al-Adha prayer.
According to the ministry, the official was accused of making statements that violated the instructions and directives of the Ministry of Awqaf regarding the preparation of squares and large and university mosques for the Eid al-Fitr prayer, as he announced the cancellation of prayers in the squares.
In addition, today, 05/07/2022, the director of the Menufia Endowment Office, Sheikh Zakaria Al-Khatib, was referred to the Values Committee of the General Divan of the Ministry of Endowments to determine the extent of his responsibility. for which the director of administration Shebin El-Koma gave out, with his shortcomings in his work.
The Ministry of Endowments confirmed that it had instructed all departments to fully prepare for the Eid al-Fitr prayer, in the squares, in large mosques and at the university where Friday prayers are held, according to the agreement of each department, with the allocation of places in all squares where the holiday prayer is performed for women and children, with the opening of all women’s chapels in mosques in which festive prayers are held.
