On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of independence and under the supervision of President Abdelmajid Tebbun, a large-scale military parade of the Algerian army started this morning in the capital in the presence of high-ranking officials.
Along the National Road No. 11, adjacent to the Algiers Mosque towards the Mokhtar Zerhouni district of the city of Mohammedia, thousands of citizens watched the military parade of the army, as the streets of the capital witnessed the largest and largest parade of units and forces of the People’s National Army since independence as part of the celebrations, dedicated to the seizure of national sovereignty.
At the beginning, President Abdelmajid Tebbun, along with Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Saeed Chanegriha, greeted various forces such as the navy, air, ground and special forces, as well as the cubs of the country.
Meanwhile, Algerian troops opened fire with cannons, announcing the start of the largest military parade of its kind in 33 years. Judging by the footage and brief shots shown during preparations for the military parade, the leadership of the Algerian army decided that day to raise the ceiling and expose everything that Algeria has from samples of the latest weapons.
