Russia: Western intelligence recruits militants from Middle East and North Africa to transfer to Ukraine

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service said it had information that Western intelligence had gathered in hotspots, including the Middle East, to send militants to Ukraine.

In a statement Monday, the commission said it had “confirmed information that the intelligence units of Western countries are secretly recruiting gunmen to send them to the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine,” and said: “Priority is participation in hostilities in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, Nagorno-Karabakh and the Balkans. have experience.

In the statement, it was noted that “US Central Intelligence Agency and British Foreign Intelligence M16 are working more actively in this area”.

“There is information that such work is being carried out in the Western Balkans, particularly in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Kosovo,” the official said.

He explained that “there is an offer of between two and three thousand dollars a month to so-called volunteers who want to participate in the punitive Kiev operation in Donbass,” adding that at least a thousand people have responded so far. “Generous offer.”

Russian foreign intelligence also noticed that his Western counterpart’s efforts to recruit mercenaries in Near and Middle Eastern countries were intensifying.

He stated that Western intelligence “aims to recruit militants from various Islamic terrorist groups who have long lost their perception of the value of human life and have no idea about the fate of the people of the country far away from them (Ukraine).”
