A passenger plane crashed in the Somali capital Mogadishu, 30 people on board were safely evacuated.
Mogadishu International Airport authorities said the passengers and crew disembarked from the plane on a domestic flight from the city of Baidoa. There were no immediate reports of any injuries or causes of the crash, according to the Associated Press. A Juba Airlines plane crashed near Mogadishu International Airport and then caught fire. Footage from the scene shared on social media showed black smoke billowing from the rubble.
