The Nutrition Project for children under five and pregnant and lactating mothers continued to provide health and nutrition services to beneficiaries in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Taiz, Al Hudayda, Hadhramawt, Hajja and Marib.
From 22 to 28 June 2022, 147,155 people benefited from the project: 27,974 children were examined, 1,940 people with severe acute malnutrition were treated, 3,672 cases of moderate malnutrition were treated, and medical services were provided to 10,166 children. malnutrition.
13,488 pregnant and lactating mothers were screened, 2,563 cases received treatment services, 11,849 women received IMCI services, 67,573 beneficiaries benefited from information activities, and 7,930 women benefited from the counseling corner.
This comes as part of the aid and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom through the center to alleviate the suffering of the brothers in Yemen in light of the humanitarian crisis they are going through.
