Honorary members of the Al-Ahly club continue to prepare for the extraordinary general meeting, which was convened by the leadership of Majid Al-Nafai on August 25.
According to Al-Madina, Prince Turki bin Abdullah Al-Faisal, the golden member, will be in the forefront of the audience for now.
Gold members are expected to file a declaration of no confidence in the leadership of Majid Al-Nafi, provided that a formal request to do so is made to the Ministry of Sports. On the other hand, the Al Ahli team is preparing to travel to Turkey next Sunday, where they will set up camp in preparation for the new season in the Yellow League for first-class clubs.
The camp will last until August 9 and includes four matches.
The Al Ahly team started training last Monday evening at the reserve King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah under Uruguayan coach Robert Siboldi in preparation for next season. Siboldi really wanted to meet with the players on the field at the beginning of the meeting to discuss with them the program for the next stage.
Omar Al-Soma, Ali Al-Asmari, goalkeeper Muhammad Al-Rubaye, Haytham Asiri and Abdullah Al-Mukrin participated in the training, while striker Abdul Rahman Gharib, who demands to leave, was absent.
Meanwhile, Al-Ahly announced the signing of left-back Ibrahim Al-Zubaidi for one season.
