The Moroccan team beat Sudan 4-2 at the start of the sixth group match of the Arab States Under-20 Cup organized by the Arab Football Federation and hosted by the Saudi Arabian Football Association in Abha from 20 July to 6 August.
Morocco’s goals were scored by Yassine Khelifi (two goals), Mohamed Ahraz and Anas Mimouni, while Sudan’s goals were scored by Amjad Essam and Mohamed Hader.
Morocco’s Mohamed Duraid received the Man of the Match award.
With this victory, Morocco’s lead rises to 3 points and tops Group F, followed by Sudan without a loan, on a par with Palestine, who start their campaign in the tournament from the second round.
