Al-Ahly announced on Sunday the signing of national coach Ali Al-Sanhani, who will take charge of training the club’s first basketball team in preparation for the new season.
Al-Ahli explained via his official Twitter account that the club’s management had finalized the procedures for contracting veteran coach Ali Al-Sanhani to train the first basketball team.
Al-Sanhani has an illustrious biography where he achieved many green basketball championships, most notably the Gulf and Arab championships, and then qualified for the Asian Cup final and World Cup qualifiers during the Basketball Falcons’ lead period which lasted 5 years in a row .
Al-Ahly relies heavily on Al-Sanhani’s experience to lead the team to the podium after he managed to make a big leap with the team, climbing 50 positions in the world team rankings.
