In statements to Sky News Arabia, he explained that the bus collided with a vehicle from behind in the village of Galala, west of the city of El Dabaa, killing the bus driver on the spot and injuring 43 others who were taken to hospitals for treatment.
He stated that as soon as he received the notification of the incident, the departments concerned acted in coordination between the Ministry of Health and Matrouh Province, and more than 15 ambulances were paid to transport the injured to hospitals. He noted that 4 cases among the wounded have improved and have been discharged from the hospital, while 35 cases are in the El Dabaa hospital for treatment, most of them children, and 4 other cases requiring special care have been transferred to El – Alamein and Matruh.
