The Hawks of our young team reached the final of the Arab Youth Cup under 20 in Abha, after in the semi-final match of the tournament yesterday, in the match held, they won a big victory over their Palestinian counterpart by a margin of five at the city’s Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Stadium in Mahalla.

Muhammad Bakr signed in the 36th minute, Abdullah Radif (45 and 64), Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa (66) and Saleh Al-Rahmani (87). Our team imposed their advantage from the very beginning during the first half and Abdullah Al-Radif missed the opportunity to open the scoring after only 5 minutes when he went past the goalkeeper and hit the empty net, if not for the brilliance of Khaled Abu Al-Heiji, who cleared the ball.

Then a header by Swaylem Al-Menhali narrowly misses the goal of the Palestinian team.

The first threat to the Palestine national team came in the 28th minute when Munir Al-Badarin shot from outside the box from a creep, but the Greens goalkeeper Osama Al-Marmish saved the shot.

Muhammad Suleiman answered our team by opening the scoring in the 36th minute, and before Abdullah Al-Radif strengthened the advantage of the Saudis in the 45th minute, the first half ended with a clean double for our team.

Al Akhdar maintained an attacking approach early in the second half and in the 64th minute Abdullah Al Radif scored Al Akhdar’s third goal after a good free kick from Musab Al Juwayr.

Two minutes later, Abdulaziz Al-Aliva scored Saudi Arabia’s fourth goal after being flagged off by Palestinian goalkeeper Mahdi Assi and kicking the ball from his left and hitting the net.

The Palestinian team did not react until substitute Saleh Al-Rahmani scored the fifth goal for Al-Akhdar in the 87th minute.
