The Arbitration Center has refused to grant Al Hilal an interim measure that would allow her to register in the current transfer period.
Earlier, the board of directors of the Al-Hilal club issued an official statement on the case of the first player of the football team leader Mohammed Kanu; The Al-Hilal administration has filed a formal arbitration appeal with the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center to seek the total annulment of the Dispute Resolution Chamber’s decision delivered during the blessed Eid al-Fitr, which included a commitment by the club, in solidarity with the player, to pay financial compensation to Al -Nasr” in the amount of 27 million riyals, in addition to the ban on the registration of the club for two consecutive terms, in addition to the suspension of the player for 4 months.
The Al Hilal Club stated on its official Twitter account: “The Board has indicated that the Arbitration Appeal Request came on the first business day after being formally cleared at the Saudi Sports Arbitration Centre; The club was unable to file a request during the last period because the Dispute Resolution Chamber chose an official holiday time as the date for announcing an unfair decision without regard to the rights of the club and the player to request provisional measures, which is detrimental to the club during league championship competition.
He added: “The Board emphasized that the resolution of disputes is correct in many aspects, which will be detailed in the appeal memorandum submitted to the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center, including, for example, that the decision violated the most important principles of the judiciary. in general and sport in particular, namely that the burden of proof lies with the plaintiff and it is unacceptable to violate this well-established principle; Where the plaintiff had to prove his allegation of incitement; The decision violated this principle, despite its presence in Article 18 of the Statute of the Dispute Resolution Chamber.
Al Hilal’s board of directors confirmed that stopping the player Muhammad Kanu from the date of the decision and preventing Al Hilal from registering for two periods violates article 43 and has no legal basis for the player not to enter the protected period, noting that the reference in the settlement of the dispute on the case law issued by the Saudi Arabian Sports Arbitration Center was selective in terms of compensation, since the said decision of the arbitration center also included a ruling that the dispute resolution was not competent to impose sports sanctions on the player and club by decision of the aforementioned center.
