Our Olympic football team has booked a place in the semi-finals of the Islamic Solidarity Tournament held in Konya, Turkey, after beating their Moroccan counterpart yesterday, Wednesday, with a clean double.
A brace was scored by Al-Akhdar Ziyad Al-Juhani at minute (45+) 2 and Turki Al-Mutairi at minute (90+1).
The Olympic Green started his career in the tournament by defeating Azerbaijan with a clean goal signed by Ahmed Al-Ghamdi.
Thanks to this result, the Saudi Arabian team raised their score to 6 points and topped their first group, which, in addition to the eliminated Iran, includes Azerbaijan and Morocco.
In turn, the Moroccan team will face the Azerbaijani team next Friday to reserve the second qualifying spot.
