On Thursday, the Kuwaiti Interior Ministry decided to deport an Iranian who appeared in a video clip calling for violence.
“The Interior Ministry is stigmatizing and expelling (…) an Iranian instigator of murder and sectarian strife,” the statement said. He added that he was deported “by plane to Tehran”, stressing that the ministry had “banned him from entering Kuwait for life.” A statement released on Tuesday by the Kuwaiti interior ministry said “a resident who incited the murder and incited sectarian hatred has been arrested.”
The General Directorate of Communications and Security Media under the Ministry of the Interior stated that “a resident instigated the murder through his own account on a social media program.” And she confirmed that “immediately after watching the video, the security authorities concerned arrested the accused (…) and took the necessary legal measures against him.”
