Al-Rabia assured of progress in securing and delivering Saudi aid to refugees from Ukraine

His Excellency Adviser to the Royal Court and General Overseer of the Center for Humanitarian Aid and Assistance to King Salman Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabia visited the warehouse of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in the Polish city of Yishuv, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the Republic Poland Saad bin Saleh Al Saleh. His Excellency visited the warehouses with UNHCR representatives and got acquainted in detail with the housing assistance provided under the Kingdom grant in the amount of 10 million US dollars to support refugees from Ukraine, of which 5 million US dollars were allocated through the UNHCR center. willingness to help and completion of the necessary activities to be provided to those who deserve it.

His Excellency and the accompanying delegation stood at the UNHCR Asylum Distribution Center and listened to an explanation of the mechanism for delivering assistance to beneficiaries and emergency response plans for refugees.

Dr. Al-Rabia explained that the housing assistance provided by the Kingdom through the Center is intended for almost one hundred thousand refugees from Ukraine, stressing that the Kingdom is always ready to support refugees anywhere in the world, feeling its humanitarian responsibility to them.

Dr. Al-Rabia praised the high level of professionalism of the High Commissioner for Refugees, noting the close partnership between the Center and UNHCR.
