Palestinian killed, 31 wounded in clashes in Nablus

Palestinian sources have confirmed that a Palestinian youth was shot and killed by the Israeli army in the city of Nablus in the north of the occupied West Bank during clashes with the Israeli army while securing visitors at a site consecrated by Jews Khalifa (18), a refugee from the Balata camp, died of severe wounds in chest and neck during the Israeli army’s assault on the eastern part of the city while allowing settlers access to Joseph’s Tomb, where clashes took place. The Red Crescent reported that 31 more Palestinians were injured during the clashes, three of them are in critical condition in Nablus, near the tomb of Joseph, a place revered by Jews because they believe that the remains of the Prophet Joseph son of Jacob are there, and the Palestinians believe that it is a shrine for a Muslim Sheikh who lived and died during Ottoman rule. In the occupied West Bank, most of the time there are clashes between the army and Palestinian youth.
