Ibrahim Al-Hadi, a member of the Saudi Arabian junior taekwondo team, won a bronze medal in the 49th weight category at the Asian Junior and Youth Taekwondo Championships in Vietnam after defeating India in the 1/8 finals, and in the quarterfinals he overtook a Taipei national team player before losing in the semi-finals to a Thai national football team player.
At the same level, junior Al Fadl Al Hamada of Al Bumsi was awarded the Fighting Spirit Award on the first day of the tournament.
