HE Minister of Education Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sheikh met with the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia; Nadeem Anwar Makarem and UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education Dr. Stephanie Giannini are on the agenda for His Excellency’s visit to Indonesia to attend the G20 Education Ministers Meeting currently underway in Bali. The Minister of Education discussed with the Indonesian side ways to expand the existing cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Indonesia in the field of education, as well as build a strong and comprehensive partnership to benefit from the development plans and programs implemented by the educational institutions of the two countries, as well as to expand cooperation and partnership in the field of university education, research and innovation, as well as for student referrals and university scholarships.
His Excellency discussed with the UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education the strengthening of mechanisms for cooperation between the Kingdom and UNESCO in the field of education and support for future aspects of cooperation in relation to international cooperation, joint work and exchange of experience and experience, in addition to improving education systems and developing scientific research that will contribute to global prosperity.
