Today, China launched a new remote sensing satellite for scientific experiments, land study, crop assessment, disaster prevention and relief.
The Chinese Xinhua News Agency reported that the launch was made from the Jiuquan Cosmodrome in the northwest of the country by the Long March-4C launch vehicle at 7:44 am (Beijing time) and successfully entered the planned orbit.
This mission is the 435th flight of the Long March rocket series.
