Today, Monday, the two semi-final matches of the 2022 Arab Junior Football Championship will take place.
Our team will meet with their Algerian counterpart, and the Yemeni team will play with their Moroccan counterpart.
Algeria topped Group A with 9 points from 3 wins before beating Tunisia in the quarter-finals on penalties after the match ended in a 1–1 draw.
On the other hand, Saudi Arabia finished second in Group B with 6 points from two wins and one loss before beating their Iraqi counterpart 4-1 in the quarter-finals.
As for the Yemeni team, they finished first in Group B with 5 points after a win and two draws, before beating Sudan 1-0 in the last leg.
Finally, the Moroccan team finished second in Group C with 6 points after two wins and losses, while they beat Egypt by two goals without a match in the quarter-finals to secure the last card in the golden square.
The final match of the Arab Championship among juniors will take place next Thursday.
