The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports of the Kingdom, will hold the Fifth Session of the Islamic Conference of Ministers of Youth and Sports under the slogan “Development of youth and sports to build a solidarity nation”, in Jeddah from 7 to 9 September 2022.
The conference is scheduled to discuss the situation of youth in the member states of the organization and the importance attached by the organization and its relevant bodies and institutions to the development of youth and sports, as well as work to empower youth and develop their role in development; To ensure conditions for stability, progress and prosperity, to combat extremist and violent ideas called for by terrorist organizations, and to promote dialogue, moderation, moderation, tolerance and respect for others.
The conference will also discuss the commitment of member states to the organization’s leadership strategies for youth and sports development to promote joint Islamic action in the field of youth and sports.
The conference reviews the efforts made by Member States and OIC bodies working in the field of youth and sports, led by the Islamic Development Bank, the World Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), the Women’s Development Organization, the Statistical, Economic and Center for Social Research and Training for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), as well as the Islamic Trade Development Federation Center, the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation, the Islamic Youth Cooperation Forum and the World Federation of Muslim Scouts.
