Leaks about documents found last month at the former US president’s home in Florida and their contents continue.
Donald Trump announced that the FBI seized classified medical and tax documents during a search of his home.
This comes after the Washington Post reported on Tuesday that a document was seized at Trump’s home describing a foreign nation’s military defenses and nuclear capabilities.
The newspaper report, citing informed sources, does not specify which foreign country is mentioned in the document, nor does it indicate whether the foreign government is friendly or hostile to the United States.
According to a Washington Post report, some of the documents recovered detail US top-secret operations that require special authorization, not just top-secret authorization.
Notably, the Bureau of Investigation uncovered more than 11,000 government documents and photographs during a raid that took place last August 8 at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, West Palm Beach reports say. The court, led by Judge Eileen Cannon, is investigating this delicate case that preoccupies all Americans.
Of more than 11,000 government documents and photographs, 18 were classified as “top secret”, 54 as “confidential” and 31 as “private” according to a Reuters government stock count, 90 of which were blank files, of which 48 were labeled as “confidential”.
