The interior ministry said security forces in the Hadhramaut Valley and the desert managed to apprehend al-Qaeda terrorist Fahd al-Dammar, who escaped from the First Military Region prison last Ramadan.
Interior Minister Major General Ibrahim Haydan praised the vigilance of the security forces in the Hadhramawt valley and desert, culminating in the terrorist Fahd al-Damar, considered one of the most dangerous elements of the al-Qaeda terrorist organization.
The Interior Minister stressed continued efforts to bring the rest of the fugitives to justice. He instructed to reward the employees of the security post who detained the terrorist Fahd Al-Damar.
The Interior Ministry said in a statement released by the official news agency Saba that Al-Dammar was arrested today at one of the security barriers that were suddenly installed in Wadi Hadhramout.
