Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, the activities of the walk program for the elderly will be launched tomorrow in connection with the International Day of Older Persons organized by the emirate of Riyadh. represented by the Secretariat of the Regional Council, the Women’s Committee for Community Development and the Committee for Family Affairs in the Riyadh region.
The program aims to promote a healthy lifestyle for older people who have the ability to walk. The event will be held in the north of Prince Turki I Street with the intersection of King Salman Street, where the running distance has been set at 700 meters, including both sexes ( males and females).
It is noteworthy that this project is a reminder of the importance of walking for this dear group, encouraging them and taking care of their health, as well as activating their social role.
