The General Directorate of Passports, through its administrative committees in the passport offices of various regions, issued 15,315 administrative decisions during the month of Safar 1444 AH against citizens and residents for violating the rules of residence, work, and border security, and the penalties ranged from imprisonment to, fine, and deportation .
Passports stipulate that all citizens and residents of institutions and individuals should not transfer, hire or harbor violators of the rules of residence, work and border protection, cover them or provide them with any assistance in finding work, housing or transport.
The General Passport Office called on all citizens and residents to cooperate and report violations of the rules of residence, work and border security by calling the number (911) in the Al-Mukarram, Riyadh and Eastern Province districts of Mecca, as well as the number (999) in the rest regions of the Kingdom.
