Greens sweep South Korea in Asian halls

Yesterday, Sunday, our team beat South Korea 4-0 at the Sheikh Saad Al Abdullah Hall in Kuwait in the third and final round of the 2022 Futsal Asian Cup Group D competition in Kuwait.

Farhan Ali (4 and 23) and Fahd Muhalkhal (12 and 39) scored the winning goals for Saudi Arabia.

Chances persisted on both sides of the field before Saudi Arabia scored a fourth thanks to Fahd Muhalkhal following a crossbar bounce from a header from colleague Abdulaziz Al-Aloni (39).

Saudi Arabia beat Japan 2-1 in the first round of group competition on Wednesday and Vietnam beat South Korea 5-1 in the second round on Friday, Vietnam beat Saudi Arabia 3-1 in the second round and Japan beat South Korea 3-1. score 6:0.

The first two teams from each group advance to the quarter-finals, which will take place on Tuesday, October 4, and the final match will take place on the 8th of the same month.
