The mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko, said that this morning powerful explosions thundered in the Shevchenko district in the center of the capital, reports Russia Today.
For their part, Ukrainian media reported this morning that the explosions took place in Kyiv, where an air raid alert was issued.
In addition, an air alert was announced in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, as well as in seven other regions of Ukraine. There were also reports of fires at infrastructure facilities in the city of Nikolaev.
