The Saudi Arabia national football team defeated North Macedonia 1-0 in today’s match at Zayed Sports City Stadium as part of the third phase of the preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar starting next November.
Saleh Al Shehri scored Al Akhdar’s only goal of the match.
Coach Herve Renard entered the match with two different formations where the first group played 60 minutes of the match and the second group completed the last 30 minutes of the match.
On the other hand, coach Herve Renard dedicated a special training to the quartet “Salman Al-Faraj, Abdullah Mado, Sami Al-Naji, Haytham Asiri”, accompanied by physical trainer and goalkeeper Amin Bukhari, organized today for the Al-Akhdar camp.
