His Excellency Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, praised the importance of supporting and strengthening areas of cooperation between the GCC states and Iraq.
This happened during the reception of His Excellency the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Sattar Al-Janabi and the head of the Central Organization for Standardization of Quality Control in the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Hussein Ali Daoud, today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh.
His Excellency commended the role of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control in Iraq in promoting standardization and quality control; Unify the various standardization activities and monitor their implementation and commitment to them in cooperation and coordination to serve the common interest.
His Excellency the Secretary General attended the signing ceremony of the Joint Memorandum of Understanding between the GCC Standards Organization and the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control in the Republic of Iraq, which includes many aspects of cooperation and enhanced joint work between the two parties. The memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the GCC Standardization Organization. The Arabic language was Saud bin Nasser Al-Husaibi, and it was signed by the head of the Central Organization for Standardization of Quality Control in the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Hussein Ali Daoud.
