Paul Pelosi, husband of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was “violently attacked” after their California home was stormed early Friday morning.
Her office said in a statement that the attacker has been detained and the motive for the attack is being investigated.
He also added that Paul Pelosi has been taken to the hospital where he is receiving excellent medical care and is expected to make a full recovery.
She was not the Speaker of the San Francisco House of Representatives at the time.
