Gorlovka Governor of the Donetsk Republic, Ivan Prikhodko, announced that 4 civilians were killed and 10 injured as a result of the Ukrainian army’s bombing of the city.
“As a result of the bombardment of the city of Gorlovka by the Ukrainian forces today, the number of dead increased to 4 and the number of wounded to 10,” Prikhodko told “Telegram”.
Earlier, Prikhodko said that Gorlovka has been under intense bombardment by the Ukrainian armed forces since morning.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced at dawn last Thursday that a special military operation was launched in southeastern Ukraine to protect Donbass.
Putin stressed that Russia will work for the disarmament and de-Nazification of Ukraine and bring to justice the perpetrators of bloody crimes against civilians, including citizens of the Russian Federation.
