Social media trailblazers are debating the fact that a Qatari citizen refused to give a TV interview to an Israeli channel in the Souq Waqif market in Doha, in a situation that thousands are calling the authentic Arab stance.

According to a video released, Mohsen bin Omair al-Marri refused to be interviewed after learning that the journalist who conducted the interview was working for an Israeli media organization.

The video was widely shared on social media, with thousands of people praising the actions of the Qatari citizen and his pan-Arab stance. Mohsen bin Omair Al-Marri said in another video explaining what happened: “I would like to clarify the situation that arose with me regarding the Israeli channel that tried to interview me, but I knew it was an Israeli channel, so my reaction was that of every Muslim Arab who was jealous of his religion and his land.” Mohsen Al-Marri added: “Our position as an Arab and Islamic community is unwavering and will not change with regard to the Palestinian issue.” Mohsen thanked the thousands of comments that resulted in the video circulating, stressing that it warned many people not to be interviewed by any satellite channel until it was confirmed and identified.
