After the end of the England-Iran match at the 2022 World Cup competitions in Qatar, a number of fans expressed surprise at the behavior of the Camila camel.
Before England faced their Iranian counterpart, Camel expected the Three Lions to win the match, following on from his expectation that Ecuador would beat host nation Qatar in the first leg.
Camille’s owners, Vernon and Jenny Moore, have previously stated that their camel is not up to par, and so they aim to attract the attention of the masses by placing the flags of two competing teams in front of her, provided she chooses the winning side between them.
After England’s 6-2 victory over Iran, the camel owners explained that they repeated the forecasting process many times, during which “Camilla” chose only the English flag.
It is noteworthy that the World Cup, which will be hosted by the State of Qatar, will last until December 18.
