Saudi driver Ahmed bin Khanin continues his preparations for the 2022 FIA World Touring Car Finals at the Jeddah Corniche on 26 and 27 November. .

After winning the GT Academy Middle East title in 2014, Ben Hanen became a NISMO racer and competed in some endurance races such as the Dubai 24 Hours with several notable results. Bin Hanin added: “We have always raced between concrete walls in the Jaguar I-Pace, but in fact on much narrower tracks, so I am looking forward to this challenge as the Jeddah Corniche looks very impressive and maintains its position as the fastest street track in the world.

Bin Hanin will compete against the rest of the drivers in the final round of the World Touring Car Racing at the brand new 3,450 km shortened Jeddah Corniche on the Red Sea coast and, accordingly, Bin Khanin will look to capitalize on his previous experience racing a Jaguar I- Pace.

Commenting on his goals for the World Touring Car Cup in Saudi Arabia, Bin Khanin said: “I want to finish the race as high as possible. I understand that the competition will be very tough and I will do my best to be in the top three.”

Bin Hanin will test his Audi RS 3 for the first time in a free trial next Friday night, with the qualifying session due to start at 6:30 pm on Saturday, November 26, with the first race starting at 7:45 pm on Sunday. , November 27, for a period of 30 hours 1 minute + 1 lap, and the second race will start at 22:15 Sunday for 25 minutes + 1 lap.

The Jeddah Tour will determine the winners of the FIA ​​World Touring Car Championship in driver and team categories.
