The General Director of Strategic Planning of the Ministry of Sports, Hammad Al-Balawi, confirmed that football is for everyone, pointing out that the actions that promote the participation of women in football are actions that promote social development and have deep perspectives in the Arab world, and there are many stories that deserve mention and praise, such as what has been held by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since the beginning of the year 2022, when it witnessed the creation of the first Saudi Arabia women’s team to participate in international matches. And Al-Balawi pointed out that training is the foundation for the development of sport, as it contributes to the development of players, coaches and all stakeholders in the development efforts of the Ministry and federations under its auspices, drawing its strength from Vision 2030, which aims to make the sport a core component of the Saudi’s personality and increase his participation rate, along with the development of women’s football and participation in continental and international tournaments.
In his speech, he mentioned that sport inspires generations as the Ministry of Sports seeks to involve everyone in strengthening the culture of sports, bringing people together and spreading hope, happiness, values and positivity.
