A funny video has been circulated of a Qatari citizen expressing his love, happiness and gratitude to the Saudi fans who came en masse to the matches of his national team during the 2022 World Cup.
The funny video began with a request to “close the borders” between the two countries so that the Saudis do not return to their country, they are everywhere.
In his funny way, he said that losing the last match doesn’t mean you’re leaving.
In his mild manner, he said, “We lost… did you see that we came out of Qatar? We are tired…”, referring to the departure of the Qatari team from the competition. And he added: “Which prophet do you see?”
Saudi journalist Mohammed Al-Bakr commented on the video clip saying, “In confirmation of this lover speaking of the good words of the Saudi public, I say to the Saudi fans in Qatar: you have honored us and raised our heads as Saudis, respect for the occasion, high culture , multilingualism, wit and charisma that showcased the identity of the Saudi youth. Thank you to this young Qatari and thank you to our dear audience.”
