Beijing Airport has announced that as of today, Tuesday, December 6, 2022, it has stopped the mandatory submission of a negative coronavirus test for arrivals.
And China’s National Health Committee said there were 28,062 new cases of coronavirus on Dec. 5, of which 5,046 were symptomatic and 23,016 were asymptomatic, Reuters reported.
The day before, 30,014 new infections were reported in China, of which 4,318 were symptomatic and 25,696 were asymptomatic.
Excluding imported infections from abroad, China had 27,847 new domestic cases of coronavirus, of which 4,988 were symptomatic and 22,859 asymptomatic, up from 29,724 the previous day.
As on the previous day, no new deaths were recorded, bringing the total death toll to 5,235.
As of December 5, China has 345,529 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection.
