The US “Bloomberg” agency, citing an informed source, announced that the leaders of the European Union countries will discuss Ukraine’s membership to the Union at a summit to be held in Paris on March 10-11.
“The permanent representatives will ask the European Commission to consider the possibility of Ukraine’s admission to the European Union,” he said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on the European Union to accept Ukraine’s accession to the bloc with a new special procedure and later.
In a phone call with European Council President Charles Michel, Zelensky called for “more support in the face of the Russian military operation”.
He said that he had discussed with Michel the issue of providing more effective support to his country.
