His Excellency Gustavo Francisco Pietro Orrego, President of the Republic of Colombia, met on the sidelines of His Excellency Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Council of Ministers and Climate Envoy Mr. Adel bin Ahmed Al Jubair at the 2023 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland During the meeting, His Excellency conveyed the regards of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of the two Honorable King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them both – to His Excellency .
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, prospects for joint cooperation, an overview of the efforts and initiatives of the Kingdom in the field of environmental conservation and climate change, and also discussed the most pressing topics on the agenda of the Davos 2023 forum.
The meeting was attended by HE Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Colombia Alvaro Leyva Durán and HE Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Republic of Colombia Maria Susana Mohammed.
