Brighton stripped Liverpool of the FA Cup title by beating them 2–1 at Falmer Stadium in the fourth round of the competition.
Liverpool opened the scoring thanks to Harvey Elliott in the 30th minute and Louis Dank equalized in the 39th minute with Kauru Mituma scoring a deadly goal for Brighton in the 90th + 2nd minute.
The defeat is Liverpool’s second against Brighton this season in three matches, as two league matches between the two teams ended with Brighton winning one and drawing one.
