Dutch rider Dylan Groenewegen won the first stage of the first leg of the Saudi Tour 2023, which started today in Al-Ula province, organized by the Ministry of Sports in cooperation with the Saudi Arabian Cycling Federation, in a 180.5 km distance, which was solved by “Dylan Gronewijn” for 4 hours 7 minutes 59 seconds, with the Serbian cyclist “Dogan Rajović” of the Bahrain Victories in second place, 4 seconds behind the first place winner. And the third place was taken by the German participant “Maximilian Richard” from the French team Cofidis.
It is noteworthy that the second stage of the race starts tomorrow, Tuesday, from the Winter Park to the rocks of the Sigilat waterfall, at a distance of 184 km. It should be noted that reaching the leading positions in the first stages of the race is a great incentive for the teams participating in the round-the-world, and an important step on the way to the podium, which requires a reduction in the total distance of the five stages of the race, the total distance of which reaches 830 km.
