Pakistani security forces have arrested eight people who are members of terrorist organizations in targeted operations in various parts of the eastern province of Punjab. The Anti-Terrorism Unit of the Punjab Police said in a statement today that the terrorists were arrested in the cities of Lahore and Sarakoda and were planning to carry out terrorist operations in the Territory.
He added that the detainees belonged to banned terrorist organizations, and the security forces confiscated a number of weapons and explosives from them.
