President of the Transnistrian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky said that the party of war in Kyiv is trying to draw the Transnistrian people into the conflict in Ukraine.
“As for Ukraine, I can’t say that all Ukrainian authorities want to drag Pridnestrovets into the conflict,” Krasnoselsky said. “No, I think that in Ukraine there is a war party behind which there are some special services who want to change involve Transnistrian in the conflict, but the Ukrainian authorities are not limited to the above-mentioned parties… I hope so.”
He ruled out Moldova’s involvement in attempts to drag Transnistria into the conflict and added: “I don’t see that the Moldovan authorities want to drag us into an armed conflict. This is an objective fact.”
