Kuwait’s Constitutional Court is annulling the 2022 elections and restoring the National Assembly, which was elected at a time when Seoul and Washington are holding their biggest joint military maneuvers in 5 years. In South Korea’s latest reaction to ballistic missile, Yonhap News Agency reported that US troops are redeploying B-1B Lancer bombers on the Korean Peninsula, a warning to North Korea.

For its part, Pyongyang felt that Washington violated its sovereignty by talking about the human rights situation in the country, and accused Guterres of “adding fuel to the fire” during the meeting at the UN.

Earlier in the day, Yonhap reported that a North Korean missile flew at an altitude of 50 kilometers and covered a distance of 800 kilometers before crashing off the east coast of the Korean Peninsula.

Japan’s Ministry of Defense issued a “strong protest” through the Pyongyang embassy in Beijing against North Korea’s missile launch.

Yesterday, Saturday, North Korea said more than 800,000 citizens had volunteered to join its army to fight “US imperialists,” the official North Korean news agency reported.
