The Molasses Flood, a new multiplayer Witcher game from CD Projekt Red, has been relaunched.
The game’s rebirth announcement, “Project Sirius,” comes straight from CD Projekt Red.
The firm made public the decision to establish an impairment allowance for costs paid as part of the development work for Project Sirius, which is being worked on at The Molasses Flood studio.
In 2022, CD Projekt Red invested about $7 million to create Project Sirius. The business invested more than $2.2 million in it in 2023. With this information, CD Projekt Red will bear the costs of creating the new Witcher game.
The business stated that its “decision above is based on results of examining the scope and commercial viability of the original concept of Project Sirius” and ongoing efforts to create a new framework for the project.
Project Sirius, first shown in October 2022, offers an alternative view of the Witcher world. According to job advertising from the studio, it will probably include a variety of well-known mechanics.
